The ARS Freezing Straw Filler is a system designed to assist in filling 0.5ml freezing straws without the need for mouth aspiration. This Device fills up to 5 straws at a time using a thumb wheel pump. A built-in positioner holds the cotton plugs in place to ensure a consistent volume of extended semen in each straw. Four Plugs are included to cover unused ports on the straw filler if less that five straws are to be filled.

The Vacuum Aspirator Pump is used during the freezing process to remove the supernatant after centrifugation. The Vacuum Aspirator Pump kit includes a pump which connects to a laboratory faucet, 3 feet of clear plastic tubing, and 250 - 5.75" disposable pasteur pipettes.

The Digital Thermometer uses type K thermocouples to accurately measure temperatures between -200?C and 200?C with a resolution of 0.1?C. The temperature may be displayed on the screen using the Celsius or Fahrenheit scales. The E-Z Freezin� Packet Stand is used to hold up to three packets of E-Z Freezin� equine semen extender in an upright position and two 50 ml centrifuge tubes. This stand is a convenient tool to use when filling straws during the freezing process.

Semen Freezing Forceps are used to handle semen straws that are being processed and stored. These stainless steel Rochester-Pean style forceps are 12" in length with serrations running the length of the tip to provide a better grip. Large thumb and finger holes allow use with cryogloves.

A face shield is recommenced when working with liquid nitrogen. This protective face shield is made of optical-grade 7 mil polyester. Lens is treated with anti-fog and antistatic coating. The headpiece is held in place by a stretch strap and includes a latex-free, hypoallergenic foam band for comfortable extended wear.

Safety goggles are recommenced when working with liquid nitrogen. Clear, protective goggles are designed with indirect venting to offer maximum protection against chemical splashes. Goggles can be worn over most prescription frames. Supplied with adjustable elastic headband to ensure comfortable and secure fit. Regular size.

Set of four 15ml conical centrifuge tube adaptors for use in the CM-7S Plus Centrifuge.  These adaptors will convert our standard 50ml swinging bucket rotor centrifuge to use 15 ml tubes.
